ASC Releases the Latest Version of Autohydro Hydrostatics & Stability Software

Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) of Vancouver, Canada is pleased to announce the latest release of their type-approved hydrostatics & stability software, Autohydro 6.13.

New features in Autohydro 6.13 include:

        • New switch for the Roll command: /fsm– causes Autohydro to apply FSM correction to the VCG when calculating rollback angle.
        • Key points and tank connection points are now displayed in the 3D view.
        • New system variables including transverse/vertical center of buoyancy, longitudinal/vertical centroid of lateral plane above/below water line and area of lateral plane above water line.
        • DataSet, a new command, allows the user to store and retrieve data from user-defined tables.
        • Enhanced MSC.23 grain tables with the GMSCTable command, including support for MSC.552. New grain hold definition dialogue in Modelmaker to support these enhancements.
        • Generate all damage cases in Modelmaker for probabilistic calculations.
        • Import generated damage cases from Modelmaker into Autohydro.
        • Modelmaker new commands: split a component at a section/location; shift a component to a base location.
        • Modelmaker Marginline Editor supports multiple components and allows editing in Line view to quickly select multiple sections to add/remove to the marginline.
        • Improved probabilistic report.

Autohydro has become the number one hydrostatics & stability software at naval architecture offices and Tier II shipyards world-wide. The advanced graphical user interface results in a software program that’s intuitive resulting in a short learning curve. Ship models are created in ASC’s hull design program, Autoship, or imported by several different methods, including DXF and IGES into Modelmaker. Develop stability books required by classification societies for any vessel type including intact & damage stability, longitudinal strength, and the IMO Subdivision Index.

Subscription plans for 1 or 3 years have become a popular choice among users. The benefits include instant software updates, no long-term commitment, an affordable option, no hardware to keep track of and you can easily switch from 1 to 3 years at anytime.

For over 45 years ASC has developed design software solutions for naval architects and marine engineers. ASC also produces industry leading loading instruments and load planning systems for the entire marine shipping industry. For more information email sales@autoship.com
