Autoship Systems Corporation Introduces New Owner of Autoship Systems UK Dealership

Autoship Systems Corporation (ASC) of Vancouver, Canada is pleased to introduce Shine Engineering Limited (Shine) as the new owner of Authorized Dealership AutoShip Systems UK (ASU). ASU will continue to support all existing & future clients in the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Poland and France with the sale and support of CADCAM products, as well as the implementation of Autoload® onboard stability software worldwide.
As of March 1, 2024, ASU has moved from Glasgow to Aberdeen, following the recent retirement of Bill McKinnon. Bill has been supporting ASU clients, vessel operators and owners for over 30 years and built up many long-lasting client relationships, which the new UK/ Aberdeen based team look forward to working with and supporting for many more years to come.
The new Country Manager will be Damien Shine, a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA), with over 30 years knowledge and experience, primarily in the Offshore Energy & UK Maritime Defence sectors. Damien has extensive experience in marine and offshore engineering, including operation & design for all types and classes of vessels, working from initial concept and design, through to international new build and operation. Damien began his career in Devonport Royal Dockyard and has held many positions including Principal Naval Architect, Head of Engineering, Technical Manager, Engineering Superintendent, Marine Surveyor & Project Manager and is now primarily based in Aberdeen.
The new Technical Manager will be Navanna Shine, a Naval Architect with a First Class Masters Degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and is also a member of RINA. Navanna has worked on various projects in the Offshore Energy Sector and has experience in design and development of naval engineering solutions, particularly in the marine environment.
AutoShip Systems UK company name will remain the same and become a trading name of Shine Engineering Limited – they will be supported by the Worldwide Autoship Network.
